ADVA

Updated 17 October 2026

Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between your business and Golden Gate Media Ltd., the company behind ADVA. By creating an ADVA account or using ADVA, you accept them, so please read them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

1.Who we are and who these terms are for

ADVA is provided by Golden Gate Media Ltd. (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13971064), with its registered office at 123 Wellington Road South, Stockport, Cheshire, SK1 3TH, United Kingdom.

ADVA is for businesses, not consumers. “You” means the business that uses ADVA and the person who accepts these terms for it. You confirm that you’re at least 18 and allowed to accept them on the business’s behalf.

2.What ADVA does

ADVA connects to the Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, Meta ad accounts and Google Ads accounts you choose. Ad’s, ADVA’s AI assistant, helps you plan and draft posts, captions, images, reels and ad campaigns, shows your results, and collects the enquiries that come in through your lead forms.

ADVA is in early access. Features may change while we build it, and we may add or remove them as we go.

3.Your account

  • Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • Anyone you let use your workspace must follow these terms, and you’re responsible for what they do in it.

4.Connecting your accounts

  • Connect only accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and keep that authority while they’re connected.
  • When you connect an account, you let ADVA use it within the permissions you grant, for the features described in our privacy policy. You can disconnect at any time.
  • Your use of Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads remains subject to their own terms and policies, including Meta’s Terms, Commercial Terms and Advertising Standards and the Google Ads terms and policies. If they suspend or limit your accounts, or change their services, some ADVA features may stop working.
  • ADVA isn’t made, endorsed or sponsored by Meta or Google. Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads are their trademarks.

5.You approve what goes live

  • ADVA publishes a post, launches or changes an ad, or changes a budget only with your approval: someone in your workspace approves it, or it falls within a standing permission you set up (below). ADVA runs exactly what was approved; if anything in it changes, it needs approval again.
  • You can also give ADVA a standing permission for routine work, such as publishing organic posts up to a set number a week on the accounts you choose. ADVA acts on it only within the limits you set, and you can pause or end it at any time. Anything that spends money always needs its own approval.
  • ADVA checks every budget against the limits in your settings and won’t launch a campaign above them.
  • Review everything before you approve it: the text, images, claims, prices, targeting, budget and dates. Published content is public, and ad spend can start as soon as a campaign goes live.
  • Meta and Google review ads under their own rules and may reject, limit or delay them. Approval in ADVA isn’t approval by them.

6.Ad spend and fees

  • Ad spend is paid directly to Meta and Google. They bill the payment method in your ad accounts, under their own terms. ADVA never receives, holds or pays your ad spend.
  • You’re responsible for all charges on your ad accounts, including those from campaigns launched through ADVA, and for any taxes on them.
  • Meta and Google decide how a budget is spent. On a given day they may spend somewhat more or less than the daily budget, as their rules allow. Figures in ADVA are estimates and can be delayed; your ad account’s billing is the record.
  • ADVA itself is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you the price before you’re asked to pay, and you’ll only be charged if you choose a plan. We may set fair-use limits, for example on how many AI images a workspace can create each month.

7.Acceptable use

You must not use ADVA to:

  • publish or promote anything illegal, false or misleading, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights, such as copyright, trademarks or privacy;
  • break advertising, consumer protection, data protection or anti-spam laws, or Meta’s or Google’s policies, including declaring a special ad category, such as housing, employment or credit, where one applies, and never discriminating unlawfully;
  • collect or use people’s personal data without a lawful basis, or contact people who haven’t agreed to hear from you where the law requires it;
  • promote content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or violent, or that could harm children;
  • impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your business or what it offers;
  • try to break into, overload, copy, scrape or reverse-engineer ADVA, get around its limits, or use it to build a competing product;
  • upload malware or anything else designed to cause harm.

We may remove content, pause actions or suspend accounts that break these rules (section 13).

8.Your content and AI output

  • You keep ownership of what you bring to ADVA: your business information, images, videos, logos and other content.
  • You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt (for example, resize or reformat) and publish your content, only as needed to run ADVA for you and as you direct. The licence ends when your content is deleted from ADVA, except for content already published to your accounts.
  • As between you and us, you own what Ad’s creates for you, such as captions, images, reels and plans, to the extent the law allows. AI output may not be unique, may be inaccurate, and may not be protected by copyright everywhere.
  • You’re responsible for your content and for checking AI output before you approve it, including that it’s accurate and that you have the rights to any people, places, brands or music in it. You confirm you have the rights to upload your content and let us use it this way.
  • We don’t use your content to train AI models.

9.Our rights in ADVA

ADVA, including its software, design and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ADVA for your business while these terms apply. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

10.Personal data

  • Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data as a controller.
  • When ADVA handles personal data for you, mainly the enquiries from your lead forms, you’re the controller and we’re your processor. The data processing terms in section 16 apply, and form part of these terms.
  • You’re responsible for having a lawful basis for the personal data you bring into ADVA, and for telling people how you use it.

11.Availability and changes to ADVA

  • We work to keep ADVA running and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, especially during early access. We may need to pause it for maintenance or fixes.
  • Meta and Google can change their services and rules at any time. We’ll adapt ADVA as well as we can, but some features may change or stop.
  • We may change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what ADVA does for you, we’ll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

12.Results and liability

  • ADVA helps you market your business, but we don’t guarantee particular results, such as reach, enquiries, bookings, sales or return on ad spend.
  • Apart from what these terms say, ADVA is provided “as is” and “as available”, and all warranties, conditions and other terms implied by law are excluded as far as the law allows.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit or exclude.
  • Subject to that, we’re not liable for: loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings; loss or corruption of data; any indirect or consequential loss; ad spend or other charges from campaigns that were approved in ADVA; content that was approved in ADVA; or the acts, omissions or decisions of Meta, Google or other platforms.
  • Our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees you paid us for ADVA in the 12 months before the claim arose.
  • You’re responsible for, and will cover our reasonable costs of, claims by third parties that arise from your content, your ads, or your breach of these terms or the law.

13.Suspension and closing your account

  • You can stop using ADVA at any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, email adam@goldengatemedia.co.uk (see our privacy policy).
  • We may suspend or close your account, or pause actions, if you break these terms, if Meta or Google requires it, to protect ADVA, its users or the public, or if the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
  • We may stop offering ADVA by giving you at least 30 days’ notice.
  • When your account closes, ADVA disconnects your accounts and deletes your data as our privacy policy describes. Content already published on your accounts stays there. Sections 8, 12, 15 and 16 continue to apply after your account closes.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when ADVA or the law changes. Before a change that materially affects you takes effect, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in ADVA, unless it’s needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don’t agree, you can stop using ADVA before the change takes effect; if you keep using it, the new terms apply.

15.General

  • These terms, with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about ADVA.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another company that takes over ADVA, and we’ll tell you if we do. You may transfer yours only with our written consent.
  • If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Nobody else has rights under these terms; the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 doesn’t apply.
  • We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages at Meta, Google or our hosting providers.
  • We’ll send notices to your account’s email address. You can send notices to adam@goldengatemedia.co.uk or to our registered office.
  • These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

16.Data processing terms

These terms apply when we process personal data on your behalf as your processor, under Article 28 of the UK GDPR and, where it applies, the EU GDPR.

  • Subject matter and duration: providing ADVA to you, for as long as your account is open and until the data is deleted.
  • Nature and purpose: receiving, storing, organising and showing the enquiries from your lead forms and the enquiries you add, so you can see and follow them up.
  • Personal data and people: the names, email addresses, phone numbers, form answers and messages of people who contact your business.

We will:

  • process the data only on your documented instructions, which are these terms and your use of ADVA, unless the law requires otherwise, in which case we’ll tell you first unless the law forbids it;
  • make sure the people who process it are bound by confidentiality;
  • protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, as described in our privacy policy;
  • use sub-processors only under written terms that protect the data as these terms do. You authorise the providers listed in our privacy policy, and we’ll tell you before adding or replacing one, so you can object;
  • transfer the data outside the UK or the European Economic Area only with the safeguards described in our privacy policy;
  • help you, as far as we reasonably can, to answer requests from people exercising their rights, and with security, breach notifications, impact assessments and consultations with regulators;
  • tell you without undue delay after we become aware of a personal data breach affecting the data;
  • delete the data when your account closes, or return it to you first if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • give you the information you need to show that we meet these obligations, and allow for and contribute to reasonable audits, on reasonable notice.
